Munich Beer Tour!

Beer enjoyment & history

"How can you experience Munich beer"?

You can do that in Munich in many ways. A wide selection of good beers awaits you in the pubs, beer gardens and Bavarian inns, which you can sample your way through. If you don't want to do it alone, there are numerous beer tours open to you, which also send along a hard-drinking city guide. In the words of legendary Munich comedian Karl Valentin, one could also say on the subject of beer in Munich: "Everything has already been said, just not by everyone!"

I would like to take this as an opportunity to take you on a historical foray through Munich's pub culture. In Munich, beer is not just a foodstuff, but a cultural asset. On our tour, we will get to know the most important breweries and their beer, which have also written Bavarian history. This history was also shaped by energetic women! This is not just about dry knowledge. Let's also toast together, of course with Munich beer! Which is now also available alcohol-free in very good quality.

I look forward to meeting you!

Do you want to know more right now?

The Bavarian language knows 100 words that have to do with beer!

To make you believe it, I wrote down these beer-related words from the Bavarian linguistic lexicon. Among them are such nice ones as "Noagerl," which is sure to become "Plembl" the longer the beer is in the Maßkrug. "Flohbier", by the way, like many other beers, was only available on a certain day of the year. In the past, the church year with its religious holidays determined the occasion on which a beer was served.

You are cordially invited to expand this vocabulary. It doesn't matter if you come from Bavaria! Beer was and is a staple food for many of us and has therefore left its mark on many languages.

I look forward to seeing you and to our joint city tour, where we will experience Munich's beer and beer culture!
